A road trip on first Diwali
We decided to visit the Pink City during the Diwali in 2017. It was the first Diwali for our little Jishu. I haven’t been to Rajasthan earlier and it was a long time we had a proper road trip. So we planned to make a trip to Jaipur, including Ajmer and Pushkar. We made a relaxed plan of total 4 days, considering to give Jishu ample time to rest.
Having all Set, we three started our trip from Noida to Jaipur on 19th October, 2017. Nice and smooth roads throughout and no issue in the drive. We stayed in a pre-booked hotel at Jaipur. We spent the evening at Chokhi Dhani village and tasted some great Rajathani cuisines.
Next day morning, we went out around the city of Jaipur. Visited the famous tourist spots.
On 20th October, 2017, we drove to the holy town Pushkar. Pushkar is famous for the Brahma temple and for the annual Camel fair. We visited the Pushkar lake and offered prayer there. On the way back, we visited the city of Ajmer and Dargah Sharif. In the evening, tried some great sweets and snacks at the well known Kanji Sweets, Jaipur.
Altogether a memorable trip. Jishu enjoyed it too. He was super active in the whole trip 🙂
Spread the love
